Sweet Always

So, had Kayleigh in a cute little summer dress on Saturday, as it was actually summery weather!!!

Some friends came over to do some stamping as well, so had to put her in the dress that matched the Stampin'Up designer series paper called Sweet Always. I see some scrapbook pages in the future :)

Well, here is our sweet little Kayleigh:

Yummmm!!!!!!

OK - so, here are some photos to update everyone on Kayleigh.



First, Dave went to KrispyKream, and got a cinnamon apple donught. It was very yummy - and Kayleigh figures that if it is good enough for Daddy or Mommy, then it is good enough for her.



Next, we took her for a walk in the new baby backpack. She quite enjoyed it.



And she was super cute learning how to sit and playing with her rattle. No matter how hard she tried, it just would not fit into her mouth!! But, she was determined!!






Finally, grabbing her toes on daddys lap :)

Kayleigh and her octopus

OK - so I got Kayleigh this octopus toy - each leg has a different activity type thing on it - a giant button, sounds all crinkley, a mirror, a tiney face, a zipper, shoe laces, you get the idea.

Well, she love to play and chew on it, and has to go everywhere with us. Oh, and it jingles, which she loves.

So, we went out for a drive last Saturday - Kayleigh was refusing to go down for a nap, and being all fussy, so I said "right - thats enough - we are going for a drive!" in the hopes that she would nap a bit on the drive. She did.

Anyways, we came accross a windmill in a field, and decided to go take a look. I snapped a few shots of Kayleigh while she was being all cute like gumming the crinkley leg of her octopus!

OK - so Kayleigh loves food - she loves it so much, that it is a full body experience! Cute huh?

Photo update!!

Hi everyone - here are some update pictures of Kayleigh - enjoy!

first "fancy" picture

OK - so here is Kayleigh first official portrait. Love how it turned out. Was easy to do - propped her up on some pillows, covered with a GIANT white sheet that I then hung over the back of a chair behind her to create the white wall, and got down on my tummy with the camera. Took LOTS of photos to get a good one with her looking at the camera with a cute expression on her face.

OK - I am now a few ounces lighter......

.....after having my gall bladder removed that is!

Keyhole surgery went well, have 4 small incisions on my abdomen. The one in the belly button hurts the worst.

There were 5 gall stones in the bile duct as well - 3 small ones about 3mm diameter, and 2 large ones about 6mm diameter.

Overall - I am waiting for the pain to go away now, and I get the stitches out on Friday. Hope to be able to hold and cuddle Kayleigh in a few more days once my abdomen is not so sensitive.
